           Our Parish Mission Statement

We are two kindred churches with big hearts whose purpose is to provide a God centered environment that nurtures Spiritual growth and reaches out to the world through Loving, Caring and Sharing.  We welcome all who seek to experience, know, and serve God through the love of Jesus Christ.

    "Dress our People"

    Reaching places around the world,

Touching hearts with God's love, and lighting the path of HOPE!

    Who are we?

We were born at the First United Methodist church in Cortland, NY on October 8, 2005. Two local women from that church both sponsored children in Haiti, and were discussing the idea to

"Sew dresses" for their children. From that moment on, the path was cleared and Dress Our Childre was started. This was such a huge success that it was decided to continue to make clothing for people of all ages.  Dress Our Children then became "Dress our People".

    What do we do?

Hand to Hand, Heart to Heart we craft clothing for God's people of all ages.  We are a Mission  ministry that welcomes everyone to share their gifts and blessings, as we step forward to offer HOPE  to people around the world. Our clothing is sent to areas in need, globally. We search out schools, churches and communities that would benefit from the items that are made by volunteers from our ministry.  We arrange for delivery of the clothing to the designated areas.

    How can you help?

JOIN  the "Dress Our People" group in this Parish.  We get together to "Cut and Sew' clothing.

DONATE: Cotton blended material (at least 2 yard pieces), thread (any color), scissors, postage (mailings), monetary donations (to purchase materials), offer Prayer for the Ministry.
